Показатель межотраслевого баланса: стоимость всей продукции отрасли, которая (продукция) переходит в период рассматриваемого производственного цикла из сферы производства в область конечного использования, т.е. на накопление и потребление (см. табл. к статье Межотраслевой баланс (МОБ). В подробных, развернутых схемах народнохозяйственного МОБ, К.п.отраслей показан и по направлениям использования: личное потребление и общественное потребление (коммунальное хозяйство, органы управления, просвещение, наука и т.д.), а также производственное и непроизводственное накопление, возмещение потерь, экспорт. Величина К.п.о. зависит от характера и назначения продукции этой отрасли, от ее места в многостадийном процессе производства. Например, основная часть продукции угольной промышленности — предметы производственного потребления, к К.п.о. может быть отнесена только очень небольшая доля — уголь, который продается населению, и тот, что идет на пополнение резервов и восполнение потерь, на экспорт. Напротив, продукция отраслей легкой и пищевой промышленности в значительно меньшей степени поступает в дальнейшую переработку, а основная ее доля идет на потребление, т.е. представляет собой К.п. этих отраслей.
